ABARA's first bricks and mortar store at B1-51 Takashimaya Shopping Centre was unviled on18th May in a special preview cocktail for top media and celebrities. Ms Yuki Yang, who is ABARA founder and creative director, hosted media friends and influencers, in celebrating the introduction of ABARA into Singapore’s luxury and fashion retail landscape.

It was an evening of fun and discovery as guests learnt about ABARA’s Summer 2023 Collection “Afterglow.” Ms Yuki Yang bonded with media friends and influencers to share more about ABARA’s founding and brand values of authenticity, personal style and environmental preservation as she gave them a tour of the ABARA boutique and its special features.
Guests enjoyed the custom-made canapes and refined cocktails were served alongside champagne. The glamourous event was facilitated by ABARA’s team of design and leather experts, who were on hand to provide information and customer service as sophisticated refreshments were served.
Then on the 19 May, Ms Ng Ling Ling, who is Adviser to Ang Mo Kio GRC Grassroots Organisations, was the guest of honour at ABARA’s Grand Opening and ribbon-cutting ceremony; Ms Ng was on hand to thank ABARA founder Yuki Yang for her generous and meaningful contribution to Hwi Yoh Community Centre Women’s Executive Committee (WEC) with donation of SGD 10,000. Ms Ng also warmly congratulated Yuki Yang on the successful opening of ABARA’s first store.

The other guests of honour who cut the ribbon alongside Ms Ng Ling Ling and Yuki Yang were Dato Louis Lyu Desheng, Chairman of RichL Holding Pte Ltd; Tang Zhengyu, Director of Compass Group Pte Ltd; and Laurent Pierre Francois Negrin, CEO of RichL Holding Pte Ltd.
Other dignitaries in attendance were Jalan Kayu Citizens’ Consultative Committee chairman, Mr Chang Wee Jan, PBM, Hwi Yoh CC Women’s Executive Committee chairman, Ms Lynette Yap, and Jalan Kayu Constituency Office Constituency Director, Mr Jason Chew.
The glamourous event was hosted by popular international media personality Allan Wu, who was nothing if not enchanting.
