ABARA is excited to announce that it will soon open its first-ever bricks and mortar store at the iconic high-end mall that is Takashimaya Shopping Centre, Ngee Ann City. We will be at the beating heart of designer shopping in Orchard Road. The store will open mid-May this year, and renovations are on-going to transform the space into a high-end luxury boutique fit for ABARA handbags! The ABARA store will offer the full range of our exclusive, top-quality products, with expert and warm service to cater to our affluent customers willing to pay a premium price for a unique and personalised shopping experience.
The 422 sq ft boutique, which is cleverly designed as an “A”-shaped space to reflect ABARA’S “A” logo, is suffused in honeyed light, highlighting design features that emphasise sophistication and elegance; with high, airy ceilings that whisper luxe, delicately textured flooring, and tasteful fittings that showcase bestselling ABARA handbags and small leather goods. The open and spacious format, allows you, our dear customer, to browse and explore our latest “Summer in the City” collection in a relaxed and comfortable atmosphere. Modern and minimalist, the ABARA boutique features a palette of soothing neutral earth tones with the luxurious natural accents of wood, bamboo and stone, to reiterate our environmental advocacy.
As you enter the wide open entrance of the store, well-trained staff will greet you and guide you on an amazing shopping journey; We are firm believers in well-trained and knowledgeable service that will focus on providing exceptional customer service, attentive, and able to provide personalized recommendations and styling advice to you. The ABARA brand name glows above all, floating upon an expansive textured stone wall – you could be in a Zen temple. Monolithic counter and display have bamboo like fluting that scroll like ancient scripture. The main design feature is an organic display wall that sensuously curves, like waves and wind, in a tropical wood finish; the wooden slats are a reflection of ABARA’s Singaporean heritage, and recalls the indigenous sea huts and fishing boats of our ancient history.
In addition to ABARA’s bespoke and ready-to-wear collections, the boutique will host special events and shows to showcase new collections and provide a unique experience for its customers, where guests can meet influencers, designers, and other fashion people amidst upscale amenities… Of which our opening event is one!
